Ameyaw Debrah Turns 30








Journalist and publicist Ameyaw Debrah of ameyawdebrah.com marked his 30th birthday with a sizeable party at his West Legon residence, in Accra on Saturday July 23.
Even though the music and movie stars he projects on his platforms were missing in action, a number of his pal writers joined him to celebrate the milestone.
Among them were Amanda Jissih, formerly of Hitz Fm, Doreen Avio also of Hitz Fm, Ebenezer Ananfio of Ghanacelebrities.com, Eugene Osarfo Nkansa of Peace Fm, Atto Turkson of GTV, Stone of Paradise entertainment, Obed Boafo of Accra Daily Mail, Nii Atakora and George of Ghanamusic.com, celebrity photographer James Okyere and NEWS-ONE and Daily Guide’s Francis Addo. 
The tall blogger had fun with his arts writer friends who baptized him with drinks, water and food after he cut his birthday cake.
Amanda Jissih was the MC for the night, with Obed as DJ and Francis Addo as the photographer of the evening.
Ebenezer Ananfio, Atto Turkson and Ameyaw’s younger brother entertained guests with some interesting dance steps including Asamaoh Gyan’s ‘Back on and on’ dance.
Ameyaw has been writing for some years now. Described as a freelance showbiz journalist and internet publicist, he holds a B.A in Publishing Studies from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where he was voted the best publishing student of 2005. Ameyaw has developed a keen interest in African entertainment and his works are celebrated and enjoyed across West Africa.

JJ Bunny’s High Budget Gambian Movie Hits Ghana

Actress JJ Bunny’s Gambian movie project titled ‘Groom’s Bride’, featuring some award-winning Gambian actors and Ghanaian lead actors Majid Michel and Jackie Appiah, will hit Ghanaian silver-screens this month.  The movie will be premiered at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra on June 29 via a grand red carpet ceremony, which is anticipated to bring visiting actors to town. The man died the same week Watson was preparing to go to Liberia to visit his family after incessant calls on him by his dad to come home for a discussion.
