Who Will Attend The 2013 Africa Movie Academy Awards?

Maya Gilbert
The clock is still ticking for the countdown of who wins what at the 2013 edition of the prestigious Africa Movie Academy Awards.
The award ceremony, described as Africa’s Oscars, is scheduled to take place in Bayelsa on April 20, 2013.
Currently, organizers are planning and working hard behind the scenes to stage a flawless award ceremony devoid of controversies.
The level of suspense over which movie makers would win prices in the various nomination categories is as high as the level of anxiety over who will attend the ceremony.
Though it is an African thing, and therefore a lot of African stars are expected to grace the occasion, AMAA tries to surprise its audience with its guest list and it’s likely to do same this year.
The award has a track record of bringing down Hollywood and world known faces to drive the show and give it an international outlook.
It had in the past invited the likes of Forest Whitaker, Danny Glover, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Hakeem Kae Kazim, Nate Parker, Morris Chestnut, Lynn Whitfield, Maya Gilbert and Rockmund Dumba among others.
This year, the question is being asked as to who is the next Hollywood actor to make it to AMAA awards?
Organizers have not announced any name yet; or whether or not it will have any special guest from Hollywood. Currently, movie-goers have crossed their fingers and are waiting patiently for Africa’s much-talked-about award ceremony.
