The Alliance Française in Ghana over the weekend witnessed another edition of the ‘rap pathon’ event dubbed ‘Bless The Mic’.
Many of the rap heavyweights such as Trigmatic, Pope Skinny, Yaa Pono, Sarkodie, D-black have all graced this stage at one point in time.
On the long list of artistes for the event was JaGa, one of Ghana’s newest music acts on the scene.
JaGa said he was there to add his name to the respected tradition and also hone his rap skills since he had been away from the microphone for a while now.
“I am also here to perform my new single as part of my promotion,” he added.
When JaGa took to the stage, he brought the house down with his punchy lines and flow skills, receiving a huge applause from the audience and excitingly positive remarks from Pope Skinny, MC of the night.
The ‘Bless the Mic’ event, which took place on Saturday, November 3 and featured artistes such as D-Black, Lousika, Gemini among others, was a prelude to a Hip Hop concert.
