Leonora Okine

Reports say Ghanaian actress Leonora Okine is homesick after staying in Nigeria for several months for a movie.
The actress, on Thursday, posted tweets about how she missed her best meal, Ga Kenkey with okro stew.
“Charley, how can I? I'm getting a panic attack over not eating kenkey this long. I could pass out! Lol,” she tweeted.
Sources close to the actress told NEWS-ONE, “Leonora has a great obsession for eating Ga kenkey with okro stew that has fish, meat, wele, crabs and snails in it.  She can do anything for it. No wonder she is tweeting about it in public.”
Leo has been shooting in Nigeria for months now and is currently Ghana’s sensation on ‘Tinsel’. She is doing great and expectations are that she sustains the standard she has built for herself.
Apart from acting, Leonora is a mobile content solutions consultant.
She is best known for her roles as Natasha in ‘Different Shades of Blue’ (2006), Stephanie in ‘Desperation’ Season 1 and 2 (2010) and Angela in ‘Tinsel’ since 2012.
She was born in Accra to Leo Aye Okine from Dawu Akwapim in the Eastern Region of Ghana and Francisca Bortey from Nungua, a suburb of Ghana’s capital, Accra.
She is the fourth of eight children; five brothers and three sisters. She is not married.
Growing up, she wanted to become a neurosurgeon; hence she read Science at St. Mary’s Secondary School and pursued a course in Biological Science at the University of Ghana, Legon. She later enrolled at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) to read Operations and Project Management. But today she finds herself in the creative arts industry.
