One
of Exopa’s young models, Roland Paul, has said that to be a model, one has to
be disciplined and live a distinctive lifestyle.
Speaking
in an exclusive interview with NEWS-ONE, he said though it had not been easy,
he tried his best to live a very disciplined and restrictive lifestyle.
“I
have therefore stopped taking alcohol and engaging in other stuff that won’t
help living the disciplined lifestyle required of a model,” Roland noted.
He
said he exercised regularly, slept on time and had stepped up in the way he
dressed.
“Now
I get up early in the morning to exercise to keep my body in shape. I don’t
take alcohol anymore. I sleep on time to be active as model,” he added.
Roland
Paul is a Nigerian-born Ghanaian model with the Exopa Modeling Agency.
He
is 22 and hails from Nigeria's Delta State.
He
had his secondary education at the Ebule Secondary School and is the last born
of all five male children of his parents.
Growing up, Roland's parent wanted him to become a lawyer; but he later realised that he was not meant for that.

“I
love my modeling career. I am enjoying every bit of it,” he said.
Roland
took part in the August edition of the Exopa New Faces contest and won the male category
while Naana Akuffo Addo won female category.
He
took part in the contest twice and he was fortunate to win the second time.
“I
was over confident the first time. When I first came I thought I had all it
takes to win but at the end of it, I realized otherwise. I thought modeling was
all about height but later I realized that it is discipline.”
Roland
enjoys watching Ghanaian born American actor Peter Mensah and sees him as his
role model.
