I Feel Normal In Bikini-Naana Akufo-Addo

Naana Akofu Addo
Beautiful young model, Naana Gyanewaa Akufo Addo has been expressing how she feels about her modeling career and how she feels about wearing bikinis on the runway.
“I feel normal,” she told NEWS-ONE in an exclusive encounter.
“People wear bikinis at the beach and it is normal. On the runway it is a little different because we smear oil on our skin to make you look sexy. But it’s normal,” she added.
“As a model, you have to feel free to wear what you want to wear because modeling is all about fashion.”
Naana Akufo Addo is the August winner of the Exopa New Faces contest, which is organized every last Saturday of the month.
She is beautiful and looks up to top model, Tyra Banks. Besides modeling, she loves movies and music. Her all time best movie is Love Don’t Cost A Thing starring Nick Cannon and Christiana Milian while her favourite music is Kaaki’s DC Tun Up.
Currently she is a model with the Exopa Modeling Agency. She is 19 years old and a former student of the Central Presbyterian School (Presec).  She is the third born of her parents’ children from Akuapim Akropong.
Growing up, she wanted to be a nurse and a model at the same time. To a larger extent she has achieved that aim. She is now a model and also waiting to enroll at a nursing school.
Unlike most Ghanaian parents, her parents support her modeling career.
“My parents encourage me even though people say negative things about what I do. They encourage me and I thank them,” she said.
“I have a passion for modeling since I was young. I used to walk like a model.  When I was in Senior High School my friends used to tell me that I walked like a model, so I should go and contest for Miss Malaika but I didn’t go. Recently, a friend from the United States called me to inform about an auditioning at Exopa and I decided to join.”
Naana contested for the Exopa New Faces contest twice. The second time, she won the female category for the month of August.
“It was great and very good. I didn’t really see it coming that I will win because the other contestants were very good. The first time I didn’t win was kind of normal but disappointing.”
