Kyeiwaa, Prince David, Roselyn Ngissah, Nadia Buari, John Dumelo, Others Nominated For ZAFAA


It is another awards year and Ghana has bagged a number of nominations in this year’s Zulu African Film Awards (ZAFAA).
Ghanaian actors Prince David Osei and John Dumelo have been nominated for ZAFAA Best Actor for their roles in ‘Government Babes’ and ‘For Better For War’ respectively.
They are competing with top Nigerian actors Olu Jacobs and Joseph Benjamin in that category.
Nadia Buari, Roselyn Ngissah, James Gardner, Martha Ankomah, Rose Mensah, popularly known as Kyeiwaa, and Rahim Banda, among others,  all had nominations.   
Nollywood’s Funke Akindele, Ini Edo, Nse Ikpe Etim, Monalisa Chinda, Lancelot Imasuen, Ruke Amata and Desmond Elliot are all competing with their Ghanaian counterparts in some of the categories.
ZAFAA is aimed at rewarding exceptional talents in the African film industry and promoting African values through the films they reward.
This year’s edition is the fifth and it will be held in London on Friday, October 19, 2012 and Saturday, October 20, 2012.
