‘So
High’, the single by Bullhaus Entertainment’s latest sensation, NaturalFaCE, is
making great progress, competing with internationally acclaimed songs.
Last
week, the song moved up the European chart on www.urbantop100.nl to spot 68.
Less
than two weeks ago, the single, featuring Dutch rapper Charles Kwasi from
Elijah Records, ranked 90 on the chart, ahead of superstar actress and musician
Jennifer Lopez’s ‘Dance Again’ and Young Jeezy’s ‘Leave You Alone’.
Within
a short period, it has moved 22 places up the chart to the surprise of many.
There
are strong indications that it will improve this week.
‘So High’ was officially released together
with ‘I Dey Feel You’, on July 18. Both songs have since been receiving good
responses.
That
was followed by the video launch for ‘So High’, which took place at The Tavern,
Osu, an event that attracted the crème de la crème of Ghana’s showbiz industry
such as Samini, Okyeame Kwame, Tinny, Trigmatic, Richie and 5Five, who
performed on the night.
Critics
described ‘So High’ as a heady mix between house, reggaeton, pop, with an
incredible lacing of African drums and other African aesthetics, which is
unique to the Ghanaian landscape and primed for creating an international
storm.
Indeed,
the storm has just started. NaturalFaCe is the third Ghanaian to enter that
chart. The first was Charles Kwasi from Elijah Record, the same guy NaturalFaCe
featured on his track while Sonni Balli was the second.
Hopes
are that NaturalFaCe will climb up the chart in a matter of weeks because many
music enthusiasts in Europe love his song.
