Ojo Ebenezer |
Nineteen-year-old
Ojo Ebenezer is the winner of the male segment of the July edition of the Exopa
New Faces contest.
He
exhibited some amazing talent in modeling to emerge the winner of the contest.
He
started school from the Fountain Comprehensive School in Lagos and then to the
Fountain Comprehensive College in Ogun State. He came to Ghana to further his
education at Zenith College, where he is presently reading Business Information
Technology (BIT).
He
told NEWS-ONE in an exclusive
interview that it was a nice experience to be part of the Exopa New Faces
contest. The show had built his confidence level just as it had opened doors
for him in the fashion and modeling industry, he said.
Currently,
even though he is considered an amateur model, he is ready for any
international platform. With the Exopa experience, he can walk the stage of any
fashion show without any trepidation.

“It
was my first show so the crowd scared me when I first got on the runway. After
that moment I felt normal. Now I can model on any stage because I’m confident
now.”
Growing
up, one of his major ambitions was to play football aside being an artist. Even
though he still has those dreams, modeling is something he can’t do without now.
He
was encouraged by his friends to try modeling because they convinced him that
he had the figure for it.
Now,
Ojo Ebenezer said, “All my expectation now is to become a top model. I admire
Prince, one of Exopa’s top models. I like his passion for modeling. That gives
me the passion for what I’m doing now. I
have not really had people trying to obstruct what I am doing as a model and
I’m happy.”
Ebenezer
advised the youth to “not give up; they should go for their dreams”.
