Chichi Neblett |
Ghanaian
actress Chichi Neblett decided to go to church on her birthday to pray to God
instead of gathering friends and loved ones to party.
She
went to church to thank God and seek divine favour.
The
beautiful Liberia born actress celebrated her birthday on Wednesday, August 22,
a few days after her son, Harold celebrated his.
NEWS-ONE
yesterday contacted the actress to find out how she celebrated her milestone.
“I
spent my day praying. I went to church too. I prayed to God for long life and
to open great doors for me and my family. I have prayed for a lot of things. I
prayed for more jobs this year. This year won’t end without a possible change
in my life and I believe God has already answered my prayers,” she said.
Chichi
has been in Ghana’s movie industry for some time now. She
is gradually becoming a hot cake after spending six years in the industry.
She made her entry into the movie
industry in 2005 and began with roles in movies ‘Puncher Hole,’ and Venus Films
‘Mummy’s Daughter.’
This year appears to have started
well for her as she reportedly got a number of jobs.
She was months ago spotted on the
set of a big time TV commercial for BO16, featuring Yvonne Nelson and Yvonne
Okoro who are the faces of the product. Also, she was a guest on ‘Peep’, one of
the newest TV series being produced by TV3 and Sparrow Production. Currently,
reports say she has been cast for more TV series.
