Signals from Nigeria indicate that East African musicians are dominating Nigeria’s Elisha Baza Charts show.
The Elisha Baza show is an award-winning and world-class Nigeria chart show where Africa’s largest music countdown on radio is held.
There is no doubt that Africa music has risen constantly; but last week’s chart placed East African music stars who, through much hard work, are fighting their way to the top ahead of the rest.
With star performances all over Africa and at the Big Brother Africa Stargame, CHAT award winner and BET award nominee Camp Mulla from Kenya, Alikiba and Laydee Jaydee from Tanzania, Maurice Kirya from Uganda, Wyre and Sauti Sol from Kenya all made their presence felt on last week’s fiercely contested charts.

Nigerian music stars were also strong contenders on last week’s chart with Iyanya and Dare climbing with their songs ‘Kurukere’ and ‘Asiko’ respectively, and the azonto rave is not over yet with Fuse ODG feat tiffany and Donae’o representing Ghana.
The week’s new entry was by South African group-Teargas with their song ‘Go Away’.
Elisha Baza Show is Africa’s largest music chart on radio, aired in several African countries and can be heard in Nigeria every Saturday on Raypower FM Network.
