The
Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) will tomorrow Tuesday re-launch the union’s
website, www.musigaonline.com, as part of efforts to keep up with latest trends
in world show business.
Over
the years, the website has undergone several facelifts under previous
administrations.
The
current administration’s target is not too different as it wants to meet the
requirement of the times and also better serve members and stakeholders.
Even
though it is yet to be authenticated what new updates have been added or made
to the previous website, MUSIGA hinted that “the website project also involves
a portal for the sale of Ghanaian music worldwide.”
“This
is also in line with the leadership’s vision of rebranding the union create
wealth for music right owners, increase investor confidence to the sector and
also make our industry more responsive to modern trends,” Bice Osei Kuffour aka
Obour, MUSIGA president, added in a circulated correspondence on Friday ahead of the re-launching.
The ceremony
will come off at the African Regency Hotel on Tuesday afternoon and it is
expected to attract lots of stakeholders.
