The
last son of Ghana’s former President John Kufour has entered the movie industry
as an actor, says fresh information reaching NEWS-ONE.
The
gentleman, whose name was given as Nana, is believed to be in his mid 40s and
reports say he is a former United States soldier who has a flair for acting.
He
will soon become a regular face in Ghanaian and African movies.
Nana
currently has a movie to his credit and NEWS-ONE
sources have spotted him on a movie location with some of the crème de crème of
Ghana’s movie industry.
The
said movie was directed by a Nigerian and featured popular African actress
Yvonne Nelson. It is described as one of
the biggest movie projects to come out of Ghana.
Nana
is a carbon copy of his dad apart from the fact that the 74-year-old former
president is older and taller.

Opinions
are however divided on why Kufour’s son has decided to associate with the
Ghanaian acting fraternity, especially when it is an industry still at its
teething stages, with its structures not firmed.
Nana
is not the first child of a Ghanaian leader to have entered the movie industry.
Akosua Gyamama Busia, daughter
of Kofi Abrefa Busia, Ghana’s ex-prime minister,
is also an accomplished Ghanaian actress based in the United States.

is son of former United States President Gerald Ford
and Former First Lady
Betty Bloomer
Ford.
News
about Kufour’s son’s entry into Ghana’s entertainment industry, specifically
the movie scene, has come at a time there is huge attention for the movie
industry.
It
is on record that for some time now, a number of respected Ghanaians from
different career backgrounds including musicians and presenters have joined the
movie industry.
The
very recent ones included Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), Ben Brako, Efya, Tiffany,
Anita Erskine and Eddie Blay.
