Ghanaian Actress Leonora Okine Joins ‘Tinsel’

Beautiful Ghanaian actress Leonora Okine is the latest addition to the cast of ‘Tinsel’, one of Nigeria’s longest running series on DStv.
Leonora replaces another actress and will start in season 5, episode 776 of the series which also features top Ghanaian actors Chris Attoh and Omar Sheriff Captan.   
‘Tinsel’ is M-net Africa’s first ever Nigerian soap-opera on MultiChoice’s premium DStv formats.
It is shot on locations in Lagos, with the most sublime filming programming artistry.
The programme has become a thought-provoking daily soap-opera that the African film industry is proud of. A number of established Ghanaian actors have been on the soap before.
Leonora is the latest addition and her debut episode will be shown tonight Friday, July 13 at 8:30pm Ghana time on M-net.   
Beautiful Leo, as her pals call her, is a Ghanaian actress with an enviable record.

She made her entry into the Ghanaian movie industry after playing the role of Natasha, a feisty and calculating socialite in Sparrow Production’s ‘Different Shades Of Blue’ in 2006.

Spurred on by the notable success ‘Different Shades of Blue’ enjoyed
with its long run on TV and the great reviews she got for her acting, Leonora decided to take acting more seriously.
Currently, she has featured in over 20 movies in addition to other TV series. Among them are ‘Enemy Of My Soul’, ‘Insurgents’, ‘Beautiful Monster’, ‘Blood & Chocolate’, ‘Secrets’, ‘Desperation’ seasons 1 and 2, ‘Echoes’ season 1, and ‘Peep season 1.
