Hence as part of the confab, it had lined up a number of influential and hard
working female celebrities to be rewarded.
“GAWE
has been organizing this conference for the past 17 years and every year the
association seeks to reward all hard working women in business from
entertainment through to business. Hence this year’s theme is: ‘Empowering
Women through Entrepreneurship: Issues, Opportunities and Approaches’ with the
objective to enhance awareness and create a more informed understanding on the
opportunities, issues, and approaches to entrepreneurial activities for women empowerment.
“We
believe these women are in business building a career in this art industry
which is mostly dominated by males is no joke; hence GAWE wants to say thumbs
up to them for all their hard work and I challenge them as well as the rest of
the women in the world out there that there is a need to be strong economically
too,” Mrs. Lucia Quachey added.
Even
though she did not disclose the names of the celebrities to be rewarded, she
stated that in the fourth week to the conference, there would be a detailed
