Another Police Man Joins Music Industry

An Akosombo-based police officer, Eric Kofi Boakye Yiadom, otherwise known as ‘Dova’, has claimed the spot of the second policeman to join the music industry.
Reports say he has dropped a mind-blowing highlife single ‘Obia Se Eye,’ with a very good rhythm.
The song is already enjoying airplay on most radio stations in the capital.
Kofi Boakye utilized the extraordinary sweetness of his voice to get away with plenty of lines that would sound absolutely sleazy if it came from other singers in the industry.
With less than a week’s airplay, some music experts have already said the song ‘Obia Se Eye’ would make Kofi Boakye an instant star.
Kofi did not feature any known artiste, saying he wanted to prove a point but information from sources said he was flirting with Jam Master J (J M & J) and might feature either Stone Buoy or Khaki on his yet-to-be released album early next year.
“It has been very challenging combining my job as a police officer and being artistes. But I know with hard work and determination, no mountain is too high to surmount. I’m currently partially being managed by Soundbuk Entertainment, headed by my own brother Amisty but we are hoping that I’ll be signed on to a big management house soon,” he noted.
“I’m still in the studio working on the album which we are planning to release somewhere early 2012 so observers should watch out for Eric Kofi Boakye Yiadom but I’d like to keep the title secret.”

Ghanaian Actress Flaunts Boobs

NEWS-ONE has   stumbled on a photograph of a Ghanaian actress named Kafui Danku flaunting her beautiful and sexy boobs to those who wish to watch them.
Her succulent and round-looking boobs were attractively positioned as that of a hot stripper who just finished tormenting male clients.
NEWS-ONE is yet to confirm the circumstance that led to the capturing of the photo.
However, background checks revealed that it was taken by a journalist with a popular West African entertainment website.
The photo was taken by the journalist while in a room with the actress.
Sources could not confirm if there were other people in the room when the photo was taken.
But the actress had reportedly warned the journalist to protect her by not releasing or using the picture anywhere for any reason.
She however used the photo as her profile picture on her yahoo messenger account.
Close sources said some friends who stumbled on the photo on the internet quickly copied it and started displaying it on other platforms including social networks.
Kafui K. Danku joined the movie industry in 2008.
However due to her inconsistency in the industry, she has not been able to make an impact. “She is back”, recent media reports hinted.
Kafui appeared in a number of movies including ‘Sins of The Soul’, ‘Shadow of the Dark’ and ‘Reason to Kill’.

Majid Shows Buttocks In New Movie

Ghanaians will once again have another opportunity to have a free view of the naked buttocks of popular actor Majid Michel.
Majid’s very hairy and light-skinned buttocks have been exposed for public view at a time when Ghanaian movie critics are divided over what constitutes nudity in Ghanaian movies.
The actor’s naked buttocks became a subject of news when it was first shown in two Ghanaian movies, ‘Hearts of Men’ and ‘Dons of Sakawa’.
NEWS-ONE has recently spotted the very hairy and light-skinned buttocks of the award-winning actor in a yet-to-be-released movie, ‘Why Marry?’ a two-cast movie in which he co-starred with beautiful actress Yvonne Okoro.
Though his butt in ‘Dons of Sakawa’ did not attract much attention, in ‘Heart of Men’, it did. A lot of people criticized the movie, which was one of the reasons Majid fell out with a number of media men at the time.
This new buttocks exposure is not as glaring as the previous ones. It however generated some excitement among journalists who watched a preview of the movie at its press release last Wednesday.
The general conclusion was that the movie’s director, Frank Rajah, could have easily edited the scene where Majid showed his hairy buttocks, because it would not have affected the plot of the movie.
The movie is however the first of its kind in Ghana as no Ghanaian producer has ever shot a two-cast movie. Besides the uniqueness of the cast, the movie’s story is appealing and rides on comedy.
The professional aptitude of both actors, Majid and Yvonne, were also challenged as they really put up some good performances.
It is a movie that seeks to explain the assertion that marriage is a game; hence couples that play it well, win.
Mr. and Mrs. William (Majid and Yvonne) were engrossed in crossfire of conflicting emotions, pains, gains, laughter and the tears of a destiny bound life. Flying on the path of love, they soon realise that they need more than just a vow to keep them together.
So they started to ask themselves, why marry? The movie comes with a lot of exciting scenes.
Movie enthusiasts will see it for themselves when it premieres at the Silverbird Cinema on August 26.

The year definitely didn’t start well for Eddy Nartey, as he was missing on the movie screens for several months.

Agya Koo Can’t Bonk Me – Says Idikoko’s Wife

Linda Abbey, actress and wife of celebrated actor comedian Augustine Abbey popularly called Idikoko, is mad over reports that she is having a clandestine love affair with top Ghanaian actor Agya Koo.
She has threatened to drag to court all the media houses that carried the story, including NEWS-ONE.
“How can I be chasing him for love? Agya Koo cannot sleep with me because I am a responsible, married woman and I do not cheat on Idikoko. What you saw was just a movie and I was only being professional but it does not mean I want him to have sex with me,” Linda Abbey added.
NEWS-ONE carried a story last week that after Linda Abbey and Agya Koo were paired as secret lovers in a new movie, ‘Agya Koo Armed Robber’, Linda, according to sources, had fallen head over heels in love with the actor.
“I don’t know who your sources were but I will say they lied to you and that is why I want to take you guys on. It takes time to build a reputation and somebody just gets up to dent it like that.
“They say in every rumour, there is some iota of truth in it but this is so fake and annoying. Do you really believe I will be chasing Agya Koo and he will be chasing me as well?
“We have a good working relationship with Agya Koo and that is all. I know he is a responsible man with a wife, so why would we do that? You guys must be careful…really hurt my feelings but my husband has been cooling me down. Idikoko is the only man I decided to be with and that is final,” she explained.
Before NEWS-ONE carried the story, the paper had contacted Linda Abbey for clarification but she replied that she was in church and promised to get back to the paper, which she did not.
She however surfaced last Friday, raging with fury over the matter: “I love my husband. I am not going behind him. Please I have babies for him so please don’t crumble all that we have fought for over the years.”
Reports say her family members are on her throat to come out clear about the reports making the rounds.
The movie that is causing the brouhaha was directed by Idikoko, with Agya Koo playing the role of a manager of one of Paa George’s company. Linda, who played Nancy, was married to Paa George, an old man who could not satisfy her sexual needs. Nancy decided to force Agya Koo to have an affair with her.
At first, Agya Koo would not accept her proposal but he finally decided to give in after a friend’s advice and threats from Nancy that she would make sure he was sacked from her husband’s company.
The movie was released a fortnight ago as a collaborative project by Great Idikoko Ventures and Auslin Filmcraft.
According to a source close to Idikoko’s Great Idikoko Ventures, Agya Koo and Linda Abbey took advantage of the movie to have some fun on set.
They did a lot of ‘things’ which were not part of the script so Idikoko had to edit those parts from the movie.
In some scenes of the movie, one could clearly see Linda shaking her flexible breasts in front of Agya Koo. There was another scene in which she was ‘warming’ Agya Koo’s penis.
But Linda said they were just acting and her husband directed the movie so what she they did was influenced by Idikoko.

Yvonne Grabs Best Actress Award

Sam Loco Disappoints Lydia Forson

Reports say Ghana actress Lydia Forson has missed an opportunity to act in a movie with Nigerian top actor Sam Loco.
The bubbly actress would have made her debut appearance in her second Nigerian movie titled ‘Phone Swap’ with Sam Loco, this month. But the production has been put on hold as result of the actor cum comedian’s death.
Sam Loco Efeeimwonkiyeke, 66, died last Sunday morning while on a movie set. While online reports said he died at a hotel in Owerri, NEWS-ONE sources in Nigeria say Sam Loco actually died in Lagos state.
Our source revealed Sam Loco had been ill for some months and that he got weaker on set and eventually died.
The exact cause of sickness has not been officially stated and his family is yet to issue an official statement on his death. Until recently, Sam Loco was reported to be a lover of the bottle and smoked as if he was on a suicide mission.
The new movie which Sam Loco was expected to have acted in with Lydia was to be directed by African Movie Academy awards (AMAA) multiple award winner, Kunle Afolayan, the director of hit movie ‘The Figurine’.
Unconfirmed reports say Kunle’s casting team presented names of Desmond Elliot, Saheed Balogun, Joseph Benjamin, Jim Iyke and Nse Ikpe Etim as some of the big Nollywood names penned to appear in the movie with Sam Loco.
Lydia was supposed to fly from Accra on Monday to Nigeria for the production. But she had to postpone the trip because the production was put on hold to mourn Sam and also find a replacement for Sam’s role.
Lydia was reportedly saddened by Loco’s death as she had anticipated acting with him. Close sources say she is Sam Loco’s fan and she is always fascinated by the dead actor’s sense of humour.
